Meath County Council have advised that they will carry out water mains flushing over the course of the week.
Disruption will take place from today, 12th February, until Friday in the Dunshaughlin Electoral Area.
The mains flushing is being undertaken to improve the quality of water supplied to consumers on the public water service.
The council has warned that consumers in Ashbourne, Ratoath, Dunshaughlin, Kilmessan, Clonee and Dunboyne and all surrounding areas may notice temporary discolouration to their water, but they say that this discolouration should clear when allowed to run for a few minutes.
Water users in these areas may also experience reduced pressure for the duration of these works.
