New 250-bedroom hotel plan for Tayto Park

Tayto Park has applied to Meath County Council for Planning Permission for a 250 bedroom family hotel at the Kilbrew complex.

The superb new hotel would offer accommodation and leisure facilities for up to 1,000 guests.

It will include a spa, meeting rooms and a function room that can accommodate up to 1,200 people as well as two bars and three restaurants.

In a statement, Tayto Park said the new hotel could provide 150 jobs during construction and 272 full and part time jobs when completed.

The latest attraction at the Ashbourne theme park to open is the Viking Splash in June.
